Since 1985 we have elected to raise our alpacas
as a "Biosecure Herd". It has been our
goal to provide our alpacas with the greatest
amount of biosecurity protection in order to minimize
stress on the alpacas and promote healthy animals
without risk of exposure to biological and environmental
threats. We do not offer breeding services to
"outside" females, only to those females
"purchased" from us. Newly purchased
alpacas by us are placed in separate quarters
for an extended period to promote biosecurity
for our large herd. As a result, we have had to
address fewer health issues amongst our alpacas.
As a Seller, we thus are able to pass the benefits
of a "Biosecure Herd" onto the Buyer.
